REVLON PHOTOREADY LIQUID FOUNDATION

Last couple of weeks, i finally gave in and bought a new foundation, and that is the Revlon Liquid Foundation, i only have one drugstore foundation, and it is also from Revlon, the Colorstay. i am very hesitant to buy this foundation because most reviews i watched (Youtube) says that they dont like it but still some like it, so i wonder if i would like it too. 

PHP 925.00 FOR 1FL.OZ / 30 ML; WATSONS

i like it because ....

1. oil free and fragrance free - (have you tried Mac Studio Fix Liquid Foundation?it smells plastic-kie that i wonder why MAC would let it smell like that,ow and even Revlon Colorstay too)

2. it comes with a pump, a decent and not cheap looking one - just my opinion. (Again,MAC Studio FIX liquid foundation does not come with a pump, so you need to buy that separately, same with my NARS Sheer Glow -- c'mon Mac and Nars) i hate it, because sometimes you cant control how much you can get, unlike if theres a pump,oh you know how it is already.

3. small amount goes a long way - i just need 1 pump for the whole face and neck area, for a light coverage.

4. light to medium coverage - but  also buildable, depends on how much coverage you need.

5. consistency - not thick at all, and not too liquidy. just fine.

6. spf 20 - a must

I just dont like it because....

1. a bit pricey for a drugstore brand. -i believe that it should be lower in price.

2. shiny looking face - maybe because of the shimmers in it, so you really have to set it with a powder.

3. coverage  - after an application, i can still see my flaws (blemishes etc.)

and also, i think Revlon should really train their MUA well , because in terms of color matching, i think they are lacking, i went to 2 Revlon Counters and they both said that im a shade Shell but thats too light --- way to light for me,(i almost looked like a vampire in that shade) then she said maybe im a Cool Beige shade, but i have a yellow undertone and according to this chart, Cool Beige is for those who are Pink undertone.

i got this chart from Fashionismycrush's blog.  it helped me in a way. i did get 004 NUDE,I AM  MAC NC30-NC35,with yellow undertone,  a bit light but with a little bronzer and im fine.

MY PERSONAL VERDICT - i like it but i dont love it, though not a bad product at all.  Nars sheer Glow is still my must have.

Buy this product again? i dont think so. i rather try (from) other brands.

This is just a personal opinion, if you have this  and you love this product then that's good.

TAKE NOTE ALSO that i have used this for like 4x, so im still observing how i look in picture if i wear this.

PHOTOREADY LIQUID FOUNDATION IN 004 NUDE - been really intrigued with this foundation, honestly, Revlon colorstay is the only drugstore foundation that i've liking, but why not give this a try. so i bought it. some love it some dont. so we'll see.

SUPER LUSTROUS LIPSTICK IN 131 GINGER ROSE - i dont know , but this swatch is very different, on my lips its like a nude lipstick. i cant wear my MAC MYTH lipstick, so when i tried this on, its my perfect nude lipstick.

SUPER LUSTROUS LIPSTICK IN 225 ROSEWINE - been so mad, so dissappointed, so sad for not getting MAC VIVA GLAM CINDI,so im looking for a perfect dupe but i think this is not the one, though this is a lovely color that would instantly brighten up your face.

COLORSTAY EYELINER PENCIL IN BLACK - i saw lollipop26 video and she raved so much about this one, and i really trust her words, truly this is one of the best eyeliner i've tried. it stays where you put it.

LASTING DRAMA GEL EYELINER IN BROWN - this is a very good eyeliner for daytime,and im loving the browness of this brown gel liner.like the Revlon colorstay, it just stays perfectly. it comes with a decent brush.

I am so hooked! OPI is now my favorite nail polish. the quality is very good, wont chip easily, actually, lasted on my nails for two weeks,(could be longer but i just have to change color for an outfit),they have wide color selection,plus the names are unique,love the bottle - the whole packaging thing,some may find them a bit pricey compared with the local brands but the quality, the staying power is so worth it.LOVE !

Eversince FOREVER 21 came in the Philippines, i feel like i need to go there every week, yes- that's insane -- but true. im so obssessed! i just love the clothes, the accessories area  is so huge that it is imposible if  you dont find one that will go with your outfit,i also like the interior of the store.

i only apply my foundation with a brush, specifically with my Sigma F80 flat top Kabuki brush

2. Do you apply your eyeshadow from light to dark? or dark to light?

Light to dark

3. Do you prime your eyes?

Yes, I use Mac Paintpots.

4. Concealer first, or after foundation?

after applying my face primer, i apply my concealer then foundation

5. Go for manicures, or manicure yourself?

before i used to do my own mani and pedi, but now i prefer them done in a salon

6. Exfoliate lips, face or both?

I exfoliate face --- and body too

7. On average, how long does it take you to do your makeup?

an hour. depending on how much i still have

8. Do you wear makeup everyday and everywhere?

im trying to use them up, so yes

im excited to see MAC holiday 2010 collection

i use White Glo, but i would love to try Crest white strips

natural only, just file them up with 3 coats of mascara

i love MAC and Nars, but Chanel is my absolute fav

i own a lot of pencil eyeliner, im using Revlon colostay as of the moment

mascara, my favorite cosmetic

white, but im loving champagne and any taupe shades

i love to use MAC Honeylust, Mac Sable and with any black eyeshadow

natural for daytime, and dramatic for night outs

yes,  i believe that maybe because they are expensive, they might be of good quality.

not anymore, but i would want to try Collagen mask.

Project 10 pan?

Some of you might already know what Project 10 pan is.

For those who dont have an idea what it is,

it is like " girl, you need to stop buying makeup" lol..-- but not for ever, but just until you finished 10 products.

Yes, you have to literally consumed 10 products before buying a new one (and you really have to be honest).


Yesterday, as i was cleaning my stash, i learned that i have so many products that are still unopened!( But these products are i intend to use).

Here's the thing. I (STILL) GOT SO MUCH MAKEUP THAT ARE UNTOUCHED, USED ONCE, TWICE, LOOKS ALMOST NEW  ---  BUT I STILL KEEP ON BUYING A NEW ONE ! SO THEY GREW.

MAC, NARS, CHANEL, SHISEIDO STASH

KANEBO (KATE) (COFFREIT D'OR), THE BALM, LAURA MERCIER,PRESTIGE,THE BODY SHOP, ELF, REVLON

Omg... i'am so bothered.

Did i spend my money well? How much i spent for all of these? Will i ever get to use them all ? Am i being practical? need or want?

Dont get me wrong. I love MAKEUP! and i love my makeup (my collection).They are carefully thought before i bought them. I love everything i have. Makeup makes me smile, they make me happy but i need to use them up.

So i realized, something is not right.

i told myself that i need to do something about this --- Right now!

Now, im thinking of doing PROJECT 10 PAN,and i promised myself to be completely honest -- no cheating and no excuses.
