I went to SM Hypermarket today (with my husband) and i'am just so happy that finally they dont use plastic bags anymore for our goodies, instead they now use paper bags and used boxes everyday. (they used to do this every wednesdays only).
They also sell reusable shopping bags to encourage us to also limit the use of plastic bags. Infact for a single receipt purchase of Php500, they will give you one reusable shopping bag. The cashier person, inform us that we can also bring our other reusable bags next visit.
So to all my fellow Filipinos, let us give our share. Be cooperative.
let us show mother earth some love, and she will love us back,too.
